When your thoughts get loud
Stop racing thoughts, at your own pace.
Racing thoughts tend to settle in at night: you are tired, but your mind keeps going. Café Purla gives you a quiet place to write a thought down, set it aside for a moment and come back to yourself.
The app is not a test and not a replacement for therapy. Inside, you will find small exercises for the moment, with no account, no ads and no pressure to get every day right.
A small preview
A thought you would like to set down for a moment?
Write it on the note and let it drift away. Your text is never stored or sent anywhere.
In the app, you can also let a thought go at the window. It becomes a small light over the city.
Honest answers
Frequently asked questions
Is this therapy?
No. Café Purla offers small self-care exercises. The app does not replace psychotherapy or medical treatment.
What if I do not open it for three weeks?
Then you simply come back. Your earlier visits stay right where you left them. Milo greets you and asks how you are doing.
What does Café Purla cost?
The download is free, and the café can be used without paying. The regulars card costs 5.99 USD a month or 39.99 USD a year, with a seven day trial on the yearly plan. It unlocks extra features and styling: a cat, sounds, decor, seasons and the look back. There are also four decor sets available as separate purchases, 1.99 USD each: plant corner, flowers, picture gallery and colorful string lights.
Does the app store my data anywhere?
Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no server, no ad IDs. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Who is it not for?
If you are in an acute crisis right now, you need more than an app. Please reach out to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline or your doctor, the numbers are below and in the app. The café will still be here, and that is completely fine.
